Training That Sets Us Apart
Each Positively Pools Lifeguard carries current certifications in:
- Red Cross Lifesaving
- First Aid
- CPR
But we don’t stop there. Our lifeguards are also required to:
- Follow our exclusive Company Operations and Training Manual
- Complete a two-day course in community pool management
- Pass written tests and skill assessments to ensure readiness
From understanding job duties to knowing how to change a trash bag, our lifeguards are trained to deliver consistent, high-quality service all summer long.
Pool Maintenance Division
We recognize the challenges young lifeguards face when tasked with both safety and maintenance responsibilities. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated Service Division to manage all technical pool care.
Our certified technicians:
- Vacuum and service your pool twice weekly on a regular schedule
- Monitor and adjust pump systems and chemical balances
- Quickly detect and repair mechanical issues before they cause downtime
Clubhouse & Facility Care
We go beyond the pool itself. Bathhouses, pump rooms, and guard rooms are all maintained and stocked for daily use. Lifeguards:
- Check and adjust bathroom needs every hour during breaks
- Perform a full cleaning and restocking at closing each day
This attention to detail ensures your facilities stay fresh, functional, and guest-ready.
